Shivoham Yog is the practice of Poonam Solanki — a yoga teacher, sound healing practitioner and nutritionist in Delhi. This is how it began.
My journey into wellness was never simply about yoga. It was about finding myself again.
There was a time when life looked very different. I spent thirteen years building a career in London, creating a life I thought would last forever. But life has its own plans. Through heartbreak, loss, uncertainty and the experience of starting over, I was brought face to face with the one person I had forgotten to take care of — myself.
Coming back to India during the pandemic became an unexpected turning point. I had lost things I thought defined me, but somewhere along the way I discovered something far more valuable: my own strength.
Yoga entered my life not merely as exercise, but as a way back home — to my body, my breath, my mind, and ultimately to myself. I began rebuilding emotionally, physically, mentally and financially.
Transformation isn't about becoming someone else. It is about becoming the strongest, happiest and most authentic version of who you already are.
I know what it feels like to begin again. I know what it feels like to lose your confidence and rebuild it. And I know that your body, mind and spirit can become incredibly powerful when you decide to stop abandoning yourself.
You can always begin again.
