Sound Healing

You lie down, and you do nothing. Sound does the work. Most people come for rest and leave surprised by how far down they went.

What a session is like

There is nothing to perform and nothing to get right. This is the one practice where doing less is the whole point.

  1. 1.SettlingYou lie down, covered and supported, with as many props as you need to be genuinely comfortable.
  2. 2.BreathA few minutes of slow breathing to bring the nervous system down before the sound begins.
  3. 3.The soundBowls played around and sometimes on the body. The vibration is felt as much as heard.
  4. 4.DepthMost people drift somewhere between waking and sleep. That state is where the session does its work.
  5. 5.ReturnSound thins out slowly rather than stopping. You are given time to come back.
  6. 6.Sitting upA few quiet minutes before you speak or stand. Water, and no rush to leave.

What is used

Instruments are chosen for the session rather than used as a fixed set.

A qualification, not a weekend course

Poonam holds a Master's in Sound Healing. That matters more than it sounds — sound work is widely offered by people with very little training behind it, and the difference shows in how a session is paced.

What people come for

Sound healing is difficult to describe and easy to experience. These are the reasons people book it.

ExhaustionTired in a way sleep is not fixing. Most people fall asleep. That is allowed
OverthinkingA mind that will not stop circling.Nothing to focus on. That is the point
GriefSomewhere to be still without having to talk.No conversation required, before or after
BurnoutRunning on empty for too long.Often booked as a short course, not one-off
Poor sleepRest that does not restore. Many sleep better the same night
CuriosityNo particular reason. That is reason enough.Come once and see — no commitment

Lie down and let the sound do it

No preparation, no experience, nothing to learn beforehand. Message Poonam to book a session.
