Yoga Classes

One hour, every weekday morning. Breath first, then movement, then rest — the same shape each time, with a different focus each day.

60 minutesMonday to Friday7:15 – 8:15 amAt the studioAll levels

Every session follows the same six steps

The structure doesn't change, so your body learns what's coming and settles into it. What changes is the focus, and how far each part is taken.

  1. 1.CenteringSeated and still, bringing body, mind and breath into the same place before anything else begins.
  2. 2.Pranayama(15–20 min)Breath practice — the longest single part, and the part most people notice changing first.
  3. 3.Warm-upJoints and muscles prepared gradually. Nothing asked of a cold body.
  4. 4.YogaThe main practice, drawing on whichever tradition suits the day's focus.
  5. 5.Cool-down stretchesComing back down slowly, so you leave loose rather than tight.
  6. 6.ShavasanaComplete rest to close. This is where the work settles — never skipped for time.

Five traditions, one practice

Rather than teaching a single school, Poonam draws on whichever suits the morning and the people in the room.

The mat is only part of it

Sessions come with guidance on food and on mental strength — what to eat and when, how to think about nourishment rather than restriction, and how to keep going on the mornings you don't feel like it.
